Twyford & District Round Table would like to thank Christy and all at Berkshire County Trailers https://www.berkshirecountytrailers.com/ for their amazingly kind donation of a trailer! This will be the base on which we build the new sleigh for our fundraising at the Twyford Christmas fayre and the village visits. For the rest of the Summer/Autumn, Round Table will be constructing the new sleigh. We would gratefully receive any volunteers with a specialist skill in paint/carpentry/electrics & sign writing (we have many unskilled volunteers ready to take direction). The grand unveiling will be at the Village Christmas Fayre.
Please get the dates in your calendar, it’s on the 27th October this year. Booms from 19:30, Gates from 18:30.
Advance Prices (£1 off) will be £7/£4/£1 from sellers to be published closer to the time.
But tickets will be available on the door so do not worry if you can’t get a ticket in advance.
This year’s bonfire is going to be great themed to celebrate the RAF 100 centenary!

Tonight is the Twyford & District Round Table AGM at the Lands End, we will thank our outgoing chairman James for his sterling leadership, commitment and fundraising for this past year.
What a fantastic night at Twyford Round Table last night, we had two of the charities that we support come along and talk to us about the incredible work that they do – both Daisy’s Dream and the Me2 Club. They are two of the great small local charities we have in the area and it makes us so proud that the money we raise from our local community can go to support the wonderful work that they do. #Rtbi #domore
This evening Twyford & District Round Table will be voting on which local charities we will be supporting. #DoMore
We are really pleased to advise that with your generosity this year’s Santa Sleigh has been record breaking by a significant margin and the proceeds will be distributed between local charities in the new year.
However what is more difficult to measure and what makes it really satisfying for us is the enjoyment, excitement and smiles that you and your children kindly share with us.
As volunteers from the local community, we are proud to do this and really appreciate your support. If you would like to take part we are always looking for new members. Contact us via twyfordroundtable.org if you would like to find out about membership or would like to suggest a local charity for us to consider.
Twyford Round Table wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
