What We Do

Our Programme of Events

We run a series of meetings for our members to meet, make friends and exchange ideas. We typically meet on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month. Our programme for the first six months of 2022 is shown below.

Supporting Our Community 

All proceeds from our major fundraising events the Twyford Bonfire & Fireworks and Santa’s Sleigh are distributed to good causes in the area.  Even with the challenges of Covid 19 in our local community, over the past few years we have been able to donate approx. £25,000 to local & national charities including:

Our Grant Scheme

If you have a good cause that you think Twyford & District Roundtable could support please get in touch with membership@twyfordroundtable.org and we may be able to provide a one off grant for your local project. In the past we have provided funds towards defibrillators, benches and other community projects.

We would need to know:

• Contact Details;
• Project or Charity Name;
• Amount Requested, Total Value of Project & Funds already raised;
• What is the request for;
• Who will it benefit;
• How many people will it benefit;
• Any support documentation;

The group meets regularly to discuss and consider funding applications and you should have a decision within six weeks. You may hear from us before if we require some more information.
